Complete equipment (frame + 2 lenses) can only be renewed after a period of :

2 years after the equipment was last covered for adults aged 16 and over.

HOW DO I GET AN EARLY RENEWAL?

From January 1, 2020, adults (aged 16 and over) can benefit from early renewal of their equipment (frame + 2 lenses) at the end of a 1-year period in the event of a change in vision of 0.5 for one lens or 0.25 for both lenses.

This renewal can be carried out by your optician when he adapts the medical prescription (subject to a valid prescription, unless otherwise advised by the ophthalmologist).

AJUSTMENTS AND RESTAURATIONS

CAN MY FRAMES BE ADJUSTED?

It's vital that your frames fit you well, both for your comfort and to ensure that the lenses are perfectly centered in relation to your visual needs.

Minor adjustments are simple, and we do them free of charge. You don't need to make an appointment, just bring your frame whenever you can.

We do not recommend making adjustments to your frames yourself.

WHAT ADJUSTMENTS ARE POSSIBLE?

The most common adjustments concern the temples or ear pads. The length to be bent (the distance from the hinge to the point where the temple bends around your ear) can be adjusted, as can the angle of the temple back (which determines the width of the temple of a frame).

If your glasses are crooked, the angle can be adjusted so that the frame fits evenly.

If your glasses slide down your nose, the angle of curvature and the angle of inclination can be adjusted to avoid this phenomenon and, above all, discomfort through your lenses.

WHAT REPAIRS OR RESTORATIONS?

Aware of the urgent need to protect the environment, Focus Focus offers responsible, committed solutions through passionate action. Thanks to our know-how and privileged links with our partner brands and craftsmen, Focus Focus offers a repair and restoration service for all frames. In our workshop, our polishing, sandblasting, welding and tinting techniques enable us to breathe new life into your eyewear in metal, acetate, wood, horn or genuine tortoiseshell.

CARE

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY GLASSES?

First of all, before using your microfiber and to avoid scratching the surface of your lenses, run your glasses under running water, preferably lukewarm or cold water to avoid damaging the coatings of the lenses. Then, using your Focus Focus spray or a hand soap such as "Savon de Marseille", make circular movements with the microfiber on both sides of the lenses, without pressing too hard. If traces or marks persist, go to the boutique for a thorough inspection of your lenses.

Focus Focus gives you an appointment every 4 to 6 months to check and clean your glasses carefully. This service is Free.

TIPS:

Clothes, handkerchiefs, paper towels and napkins are harmful to your glasses (sandblasting effect). They transfer impurities to the glass, creating micro-scratches. Glass undergoes a sanding effect and loses performance over time. Even the smallest scratches, invisible to the naked eye, can impair vision.

The surface coatings on your lenses are as useful as they are fragile, and have difficulty withstanding sudden changes in temperature or sources of intense heat.
